Camille Portes defends her PhD thesis

Machine learning put to the test for enhancing epidemiological surveillance

On 7 April, Camille Portes defended her thesis research on "Enhanced risk-based surveillance of Xylella fastidiosa".  Camille's work was a real test of interdisciplinarity (at the cross section between math and environmental sciences in particular) directed by Edith Gabriel in conjunction with Dino Ienco and Eric Verdin.  Camille's thesis scholarship was funded by the IMPLANTEUS graduate school.
