Three BEYOND members were invited to be speakers at the 2023 session of the international workshop on Biology of Vector-Borne Diseases at the University of Idaho (https://www.uidaho.edu/research/entities/ihhe/education/vector-borne-diseases).   Sylvie Malembic-Mayer, Samuel Soubeyrand and Cindy Morris made their way to Moscow, Idaho, USA during the 2^nd week of June 2023. Sylvie presented “The benefits of modeling to improve the management of vector-borne plant diseases: an insight from grapevine Flavescence dorée”, Sam presented “Integrating statistical and mathematical models, with an excursion toward tropospheric networks” and Cindy presented the keynote address, at the end of the workshop, on “What is the added value of One Health for plant health?” This was clearly an occasion to communicate knowledge that we are creating in the BEYOND project and it was also an opportunity to start up some new collaborations.
